Massive Cover-up in Watford City, ND

At Captain Shrink Wrap, there’s no distance we wont go for a cover-up and recently that brought us out to Watford City, ND, just a short reach from the big waters of Lake Sakakawea and the rugged beauty of the North Dakota Badlands. We were graced with the opportunity to shrink-wrap a refurbished incinerator destined for an African port. Badlands Contracting, LLC contacted us to help facilitate this near full-envelope wrap for their customer Questor Technologies, once they had completed their work of refitting and refurbishing it.

To date it represents the largest project on the books for Captain Shrink Wrap. It was quite a massive undertaking but once we got our head around it, it came together nicely, though not without a few minor set-backs. Wind was not a factor until we began the process of applying the last and largest sheet of material–20ft. x 120ft.–when a slight breeze, no more than 4-5 knots, gently lifted the material out of place just enough for us to have to reposition it from scratch. However, as always, all was not lost for we simply regrouped and repositioned the material and spot welded the windward side seam before fully repositioning the material. A little fresh lemonade, anyone?! We duly noted the tactical error and adjustment for future reference.

We appreciate the business from Badlands Contracting, LLC and for the opportunity to serve their client’s needs, by shrink-wrapping this refurbished incinerator for eventual overseas shipment.
